Samantha has a passion for developing young horses and ambitious students. She helps riders focus on a balanced and correct seat while gaining a fundamental understanding of the horse's mechanics. She also focuses her attention on training a properly educated horse that can happily and comfortably do its job.

"I believe in the basics! The horse and rider need to communicate and work as a team. I have clients who want and hope for the best but need some help breaking through communication barriers so that they can begin to work and learn as a team. I get to be their 'counselor' and step in when needed. Sometimes they are merely speaking two different languages and need someone to interpret; other times just inexperienced horses or riders. I enjoy and prefer to sit on every horse I work with so that I can more accurately help the rider."
